  • It can stay in the freezer for up to 6 months. I know I just said to freeze it only for 3 months, but if the need arises, it can stay sound and eatable in the freezer for 6 months. Its shape may be deformed, but it will taste just the same.

  • The cheese may become crumbly or gooey if frozen. This is something that will happen no matter how you freeze camembert for. But, if you freeze it for longer, this can happen with more intensity.
  • It may lose some flavor, but it is not a big deal when it comes to camembert because the taste doesn’t change much; the texture gets most affected.
  • The cheese can become rubbery.
  • It doesn’t refreeze well.

How to Defrost Camembert Cheese?
